Tournament Schedules
|
|
Tournaments are held through the state with divisions based
on school age. Your traveling team will be in a division based on the
oldest school age member on the team (if you have 1 6th grader and the rest
5th graders your team will play in the 6th grade division). If a tournament
doesn’t have your age division you may move up (4th grade teams play
in the 5th grade division).
Generally, traveling teams are 5th grade through 8th grade. Can be older
teams, too, if it isn’t during the high school season.
If all team members belong to the Booster Club, the club will pay all
tournament entry expenses for a total of NINE tournaments. There is no
limit to the number of tournaments a team may enter but the BJBB will only
pay for nine tournaments, including 3 on 3 tournaments.

Gym Rental
|
|
The JBB will pay for 2 gym sessions per week max at 1.5
hrs per session per traveling team at the current public rate.
- The JBB will pay for
gyms rented between September 1 and April 15.
- Until a team's
roster is turned in to the BJBB Treasurer (DeAnn Ament, 952-4824, aments@daktel.com) the school will
not allow a traveling team to set up practice times and use the gyms
unless the team wants to pay for the gym rental themselves.
Gym times may be secured by calling:
- All public school
gyms: 252-1950
- Hillcrest gym:
252-5409
- St. John's Academy:
252-0119 or 252-3397
- Note: If a parochial
school charges more than the public rate for their gym time, then the
traveling team is responsible for the difference.
